Global e-commerce giant Lazada strives to deliver a unique entertainment experience tailored to each market. To support its expanding operations, the company required a new office space. We have designed an innovative workspace named “One Lazada” in Singapore, which will serve as the hub for its Southeast Asian operations, fostering team collaboration and enhancing brand culture.

Drawing Inspiration from Local Culture
Situated in a unique geographic location, this space provides Lazadians (employees) with a dynamic ecosystem that fosters gathering, creativity, and innovation. Designed with a “Home and Neighbourhood” theme, each floor offers a distinct sense of belonging tailored to employees’ needs. Floors 8-10 focus on connecting with the local community. The 9th floor draws inspiration from the street markets and culinary scene around Bras Basah, reflecting Singapore’s “Nanyang” cultural ambiance. The 8th floor highlights colonial heritage through elements like Chimes, Raffles Hotel, the Singapore Art Museum, and the National Museum. The 10th floor features lush greenery reminiscent of Fort Canning Park.


Vibrant and Creative Office Culture
Each floor’s main entrance is highlighted by custom “LazWorld” graphics inspired by details and materials from local cafés. These unique graphics help to convey the sense of belonging and pride associated with the Lazada brand. The environmental designs and themed floors embody Lazada’s core values, offering a cohesive and fluid experience.


Focus on Connection and Collaboration
In addition to the public areas at each entrance, we have designed various collaboration spaces to support hybrid working models. Large collaborative areas highlight the office’s strength as a hub for teamwork due to their size and flexibility. Medium and small-sized spaces cater to both focused work and small group collaborations. Offering purposeful and meaningful opportunities for collaboration is a crucial aspect of our office space design.

The design of office spaces in Singapore stands out for its uniqueness. It fosters a strong connection with the local culture, ensuring that both employees and clients not only experience the brand culture but are also fully immersed in the “LazWorld” environment.
